I am an ENT specialist practicing in Hermanus, Western Cape. Following matriculation at King Edwards in Johannesburg, I did my primary medical degree at Wits university. I was then subjected to compulsory military “training” and followed this with at a degree in sports science at UCT. I specialised in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery at Grootte Schuur Hospital Cape Town completing my degree way back in 1996.

I was fortunate to do a 6 month fellowship in the Radcliff Infirmary in Oxford. In 2018 I completed an advanced Diploma in hearing aid acoustics and am also currently a practicing Acoustician.

I am a member of the South African sleep society and have a special interest in Sleep Apnoea and its significance in our general well-being.
